Welcome to the Friends of Studley High School.

Our aim is to:

  1. Build closer relationships between parents, staff and all associated with the school.
  2. Organise fundraising activities to support education in school, by helping to provide facilities or items, not provided from other funding.
  3. Offering opportunities for local charities to fund-raise at our events.

We raise several thousands of pounds each year, mostly from our ‘Fireworks Extravaganza’.

The following are some of the many things we have funded over the last few years:

  1. £5,000 for a brand new set of 20 laptops.
  2. £1,200 towards software and computers for the music department.
  3. £4,200 towards a set of Chromebooks.
  4.  A set of school netball team dresses.
  5. A new school piano.
  6. £5,000 towards the playground revamp.

Friends of Studley High School is currently run by Caroline Maddock-Jones, who has a daughter in Year 10. She is the main driving force behind the Fireworks Extravaganza. Penny Kirk is the other key team member. Penny has a son in Year 8 and works at the school as a Cover Supervisor. There is a significant and enthusiastic crew of volunteers who support by helping out at events and we are always happy to welcome new volunteers. We look forward to working with you to support your young people’s time at Studley High School. You can contact us by email on friendsof@studleyhighschool.org.uk
