Mrs R McGhie

Mrs McGhie was previously the Head of Faculty for English, Languages and the Arts at Henley in Arden school, with over 11 years of secondary teaching experience and over 9 years experience of subject leadership. She is currently responsible for Teaching and Learning, allowing her to support colleagues at different stages in their careers in a range of subject areas. Her areas of specialism involve English curriculum planning, monitoring the progress of pupils and supporting colleagues to develop their classroom practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Quality of education CPD for all staff
• Strategic and operational overview of whole school data, reporting and assessment
• Parents evenings and target setting.
• Pupil data tracking system across all subjects and year groups
• Oversight of examinations processes, including end of year exams for all year groups and mock examinations.
• Organisation and lead for Level 2 qualifications.
• Oversight of all NPQ courses
