Studley High School’s student prefects took part in the Remembrance Day Parade in Studley on Sunday, 9 November. They conducted themselves admirably as they paid tribute to the heroes lost in past conflicts.

Year 11 students proudly represented SHS at the parade, accompanied by many younger students who also attended. Everyone involved was a true credit to the school.

During Sunday’s heartfelt ceremony, the students were honoured to read aloud the names of the fallen—a powerful act of remembrance and gratitude for those who gave their lives.

Their participation reflected the highest standards of respect, solemnity, and reverence that Studley High School fosters in its students. They carried themselves with dignity and grace, embodying the core values of the school.

Ms Haines said, “We were incredibly proud of their outstanding representation of Studley High School at the Remembrance Day Parade. Their involvement in this important event reflects the commitment of our students to remember and honour the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women.”

The entire school community commends the student prefects for their respectful and dignified participation in the Remembrance Day Parade. They have not only paid tribute to the fallen but also demonstrated the school’s values of integrity, compassion, and respect.
