It’s not just during classroom hours that young minds can be nurtured, and research suggests that pupils who participate in extracurricular activities perform better academically and socially.

One of the greatest things about childhood is doing the things you enjoy outside the classroom – joining a rugby team, learning to play a musical instrument, or taking part in a show. Here at Studley High School, we want all of our students to access a broad and enriched extracurricular program including DofE, sports clubs/fixtures, Peripatetics, drama club, languages and astronomy club.

We consider the opportunity to get involved in such activities outside of the classroom as invaluable life experiences which boost confidence, communication, teamwork and broaden a child’s mind as well as learning specific skills.

Extracurricular activities take place either during lunch time or after school (3:15 – 4:15pm). The whole school extracurricular program can be found below or on the display board in the hall. Form tutors also display the timetable within form time on a regular basis to encourage participation.

Please see some of the pictures below from the fantastic memories children have made through attending such clubs.
