This year, we held our Open Event on Thursday 13th September and welcomed over 400 people to school

With Secondary School application date coming up shortly, on 31st October, the entire staff and many pupils, put everything into preparing a day and evening to showcase the school in all it’s glory.

Parents who were not able to attend the evening event, booked school tours in the morning and afternoon, and the evening event started at 6.15pm.

Mr Gray, the Principal, then greeted visitors in the hall and spoke about the many benefits of sending their child here and the experiences our students have during their time at Studley High School. Year 7 pupils Kimi Sweet and Jacob Miles delivered a brilliant presentation on settling in to school and their journey from Year 6 to Year 7, including their experiences of Summer School, to ease the transition.

Feedback from parents has been incredibly positive, particularly relating to the expertise of our pupils and the passion they showed in talking about school and the individual subjects, as they carried out their tours.

If any parent or carer still wishes to see the school and meet a member of the leadership team, please contact the office to arrange a personal tour: 01527 852 478.

Thank you to all who attended and all staff and pupils involved, for making this the best ever open event at Studley High School.
