Last Wednesday, parents of our ASPIRE pupils came to school for the Parent Launch of our new ASPIRE programme for which 27 students in Year 7 & 8 have been specifically selected to join.

Extra-curricular activities already on offer at Studley were discussed, the opportunity for peripatetic music lessons, attendance, house points and negatives were also shared with parents/carers – driving conversations with their child about their performance so far this year

ASPIRE pupils then spent time with their parent/carer reviewing personalised targets suggested by their teachers and summarised 3 key targets they would like to work on. They completed their target card together and from Monday 21st January for a 2 week period, they will strive to reach all 3 targets. This will be monitored and reviewed by the pupil and their tutor/parent daily. The target will then be refreshed for another 2 weeks, with the final review being completed before the end of this half term.

The ASPIRE programme will continue to communicate with parents regularly throughout this academic year and support their child with their confidence, resilience and independence.
