Last week marked a thrilling beginning to the Girls Shires Super-League for Years 7 & 8, with Studley and Ridgeway facing off in their first match. The competition was fierce in the benchball games, with both teams showing great skill and determination. After two intense rounds, the scores were tied, leading to a nail-biting tiebreaker.
Ridgeway emerged victorious in both tiebreakers, securing their place as the overall winners of this inaugural Super-League match. Congratulations to Ridgeway for their impressive performance!
We are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Year 9 and 10 competition, which will feature Studley, Ridgeway, and North Bromsgrove. It promises to be another exciting event!
