Macmillan Coffee Morning
On Friday 6th October 2023 we are hosting a Macmillan Coffee Morning. This is a charity extremely close to our hearts here at Studley as many of our community have been affected by cancer.
Macmillan workers provide physical, financial and emotional support to those living with cancer and their families, so we are hoping to raise as much money as we can for this wonderful cause.
How can I get involved?
Students can bring a cake/cakes for a Charitable postcard worth 10 house points – bring to the Hall before period 1.
Bring in cash to buy cake from the Hall at break time – slices are 50p.
Languages House Competition
The Languages department are holding a competition linked to European Day of Languages (26th September), which promotes diversity and language learning. This year the theme is ‘Treasure’.
How do I enter?
Bring in a homemade/decorated cake for the coffee morning with a ‘Europe’ or ‘Treasure’ theme to automatically enter the MFL competition – bring to the Hall before period 1.
There are 3 categories of prizes: Best Effort, Best Originality and Best Showstopper.
All entries earn a Charitable postcard, with the winners of each category earning 500 house points for their house!
