On Friday 6th October the whole school came together to raise money on behalf of Macmillan cancer support. It was a well-supported event by both staff and students and the atmosphere in the Hall was positive.
We successfully raised £446.15 for this wonderful cause – a big thank you to everybody who donated time, cake and money, and to the prefect team who sold cake to the rest of the school.
Every student who donated cake was awarded a Charitable postcard.
We also had the MFL ‘Bake Time for Others’ House Competition running at the event, with cakes themed on ‘Europe’ or ‘Treasure’ entered automatically. The winners of each category were:
