This term, our students in Years 7 and 8 celebrated their hard work and achievements in style at the highly anticipated Studley Snow Ball. The event, held on the evenings of Thursday, 12th December, and Friday, 13th December, was a glittering success, filled with music, laughter, and festive cheer.
Students arrived dressed to impress, ready to enjoy an evening of fun and celebration with their peers. A special mention to the student who came dressed as a penguin! The main hall was transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with twinkling lights and snowflake decorations. Our live DJ kept the dance floor buzzing with an exciting mix of chart hits and festive classics, while the glow sticks and face glitter art added to the vibrant atmosphere. For those who wanted to take a break from the dancing, a selection of board games, delicious pizza, a variety of drinks, and the ever-popular sweets station— provided the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the evening. One of the highlights of the evening was the professional photobooth, where students could don quirky props and take home printed keepsakes of the night.
A highlight of the evening was the House Dance-Off, where students from Pegasus, Phoenix, and Griffin took to the dance floor to showcase their moves and compete for house glory. The energy was electric as each house cheered on their dancers, with the live DJ providing the perfect soundtrack for the spirited competition. After an intense and entertaining showdown, Pegasus House emerged victorious, impressing the judges with their creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm.
The Snow Ball was not just a reward for outstanding behaviour, attendance, and effort; it was also a celebration of our students’ positive contributions to the school community.
We’d like to thank all the staff who volunteered their time to make the event such a success and the parents and carers for their continued support. Most of all, a huge well done to the students for their exemplary behaviour and enthusiasm throughout both evenings.
The Studley Snow Ball truly embodied the spirit of the season—joy, community, and celebration. We can’t wait to see what the reward event for next term will bring!
