Last week, Year 7 had a fantastic day learning about many aspects of ‘healthy lifestyles’ including diet, exercise and emotional well-being. This was also supported by Joe Deans from Brook, helping children better understand sexual health.

David Martin (Community Support Officer) from Warwickshire Police Force, came in to deliver sessions on Child Exploitation and educating our pupils on how to identify the dangers and patterns of behaviour used to exploit children.

Year 9 worked hard all day to survive on the ‘island’! Learning to work together to overcome obstacles and complete challenges such as building shelters, producing T-shirts and dance pieces.

Year 10 were able to listen to presentations from the restorative justice team from HMP Hewel. They engaged with prisoners in a Q&A session about the reality of prison, dangers of criminal activity and the impact it has had on their lives.
