Last week, Year 7 students were involved in carving pumpkins for residents at St David’s House and Queens Cottages, an elderly care facility in Redditch.

Students carved the pumpkins with spooky halloween faces, and staff and residents at St David’s House were really impressed with their efforts.

The residents will now be painting the pumpkins and displaying them, before using them as flowerpots. Students from all year groups have also been making birthday cards for one of the residents at the home who will be celebrating her 100th birthday next week.
