The first-ever Secondary Shires Multi-Academy Trust Olympics took place at the Abbey Stadium—and what a spectacular day it was! With a buzzing atmosphere and blue skies overhead, more than 200 pupils from Studley, Ridgeway, and North Bromsgrove came together for a truly memorable celebration of sport.
From sprinting and long jumping to shot put and relay races, pupils poured their energy into every event. Their determination, sportsmanship, and sheer talent on the track and field were nothing short of inspiring. It was a showcase of resilience, athleticism, and teamwork.
A huge moment came with the setting of the first official Shires MAT Olympic records – congratulations to all pupils who now hold their names in the history books. A full list of record-setters will be shared soon.
The highlight of the day? Studley High School came out on top, taking victory in both the Year 7 & 8 and Year 9 & 10 team competitions! We couldn’t be prouder of our athletes and the team spirit they showed throughout.
We’re already counting down the days until the 2026 Shires MAT Olympics. Until then—keep training, keep dreaming, and keep breaking boundaries!
