Exciting Year 7 Residential Adventure at Studley High School
Over the last three days of term last year, our Year 7 students embarked on their first residential. A group of 101 eager students set out on an exciting journey to Rock UK in Northamptonshire for an unforgettable residential experience.
During their two-night stay, our Year 7 students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in a wide range of exciting activities that brought them closer to nature and challenged their skills. From archery and high ropes adventures to canoeing, mountain biking, outdoor climbing, and various sports, there was no shortage of action-packed moments.
The adventure didn’t stop there! Students also had the chance to bond with their peers around campfires, showcasing their teamwork and creativity. In addition, they put their problem-solving skills to the test with activities like raft building, where they learned to collaborate and navigate the waters together.
This Year 7 Residential program was more than just an excursion; it was an opportunity for our students to step out of their comfort zones, build lasting friendships, and create memories that will stay with them for years to come.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff who organized and supervised this adventure, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants. Their commitment to our students’ growth and development is truly commendable.
As we head into the new term, Studley High School looks forward to more exciting experiences that will empower our students to thrive academically, socially, and personally. Congratulations to all our Year 7 students on completing this incredible journey, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact it has on their school life.
