We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of one of our talented Year 7 students, Freya K in Year 7, who is making waves in the world of cricket!

Freya is currently a member of the Under 13 squad for Worcestershire County Cricket Club, a remarkable accomplishment that reflects her dedication, talent, and passion for the sport. Her journey began at the age of 7, inspired by her older brother, and she has been part of the Worcestershire cricket setup since she was just 9 years old.

Freya’s commitment to improving her skills is evident in everything she does. She trains hard, plays with determination, and is always eager to learn and grow. Her cricketing idol, Alice Capsey, also began her journey at the same age, and Freya is following in her footsteps with great promise.

She is now part of the Emerging Player Pathway, a structured programme designed to identify and develop young cricketers aged 13 to 18. This initiative helps players refine their skills and prepare for the possibility of progressing into first-class cricket.

Freya’s journey is just beginning, and we are excited to see where her talent and hard work will take her. She is a shining example of what can be achieved with passion, perseverance, and a love for the game.

Well done, Freya – we are cheering you on every step of the way!
