We were thrilled to welcome professional theatre company STAG-ED to school for an engaging workshop on An Inspector Calls, a core GCSE text for Year 10 and Year 11 students. Recently voted The Best Drama and English Workshop Provider 2024, STAG-ED delivered an unforgettable 90-minute session packed with valuable insights.
The workshop explored J.B. Priestley’s intentions for the play, providing a comprehensive plot recap, in-depth character analysis, and a focused discussion on key themes. One of the highlights was seeing key moments from the text brought vividly to life as actors staged scenes from Inspector Goole’s intense interrogations.
This dynamic experience helped deepen students’ understanding of the text, offering fresh perspectives and practical exam preparation.
