On Saturday 17th May, 45 Year 9 students embarked on their Bronze DofE practice expedition, trekking through Evesham and Pershore. The cohort began at different start points and followed unique routes to meet the rest of their peers at the campsite. All the groups had a successful day of navigation and made it back to camp safely. On the evening, students set up camp and made themselves dinner; some groups even treated themselves to hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows! We also celebrated a birthday at the campsite, and all gathered to wish Logan a Happy Birthday before playing games of football, rounders, and catch.

Spirits remined high through to Sunday morning, where students left camp to complete their second day of walking. Students were pretty tired by the end of the weekend, but hopefully they’ll be ready to go again in two weeks time for their qualifying expedition!
