We are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Year 10 student, Josh G, who has successfully passed his fire cadet training and received an additional award for being the highest achiever in his cohort.

Josh has been dedicated to fire cadet training since September 2024, working diligently to develop essential firefighting skills. His commitment and perseverance culminated on Saturday when he officially passed out as a Full Fire Cadet for the Hereford and Worcestershire Fire Service.

The pass-out ceremony was a momentous occasion, showcasing the expertise and teamwork of the cadets. One of the highlights of the event was Josh’s remarkable leadership in a high-pressure drill, where he commanded his team to rescue a person from a burning building. His ability to stay calm under pressure and lead effectively impressed both instructors and spectators alike.

In addition to earning his fire cadet status, Josh was honoured with an extra award in recognition of his exceptional performance throughout the program. As the highest achiever in his cohort, this accolade reflects his hard work, determination, and natural leadership abilities.
