Year 8 pupil, Leia D has been successful in becoming a Police Cadet after a formal interview and application process. She told us:
The police cadets is a wonderful opportunity to see what happens in various real life situations. A police cadet gets the insight of what the police force is like, we do different scenarios and we individually get asked ‘what would you do if…’. When you join the police cadets you need to pass your first aid training. As I am wanting to join the police force, I thought that this would be a good place to start. Ever since my older brother joined the police cadets, I’ve been waiting until I was old enough to join. Now I’m old enough, I applied and a couple of weeks later I received notification of that I had been successful!
