Last Saturday, Year 10 pupils, James M battled through torrential conditions to finish in first place in 1500m race, at the Warwickshire county Athletics Championships at Pringles Stadium in Nuneaton.
The event saw him beat the five best 1500m runners in the county and allowed him to qualify for this weekends National Championships where he will be representing Warwickshire.
