We witnessed an exhilarating display of talent and teamwork on September 29th as students from all years gathered for an action-packed house competition during lunchtime. The event, a penalty shootout, featured students taking shots on goal with none other than our very own teachers, including the indomitable Mr. Eost, donning the gloves as fearless goalkeepers. The crowd even saw Sid the dragon making a special appearance to cheer on the teams!
In a nail-biting showdown that had everyone on the edge of their seats, it was Team Phoenix that soared to victory, showcasing their precision and nerves of steel in the penalty shootout. Phoenix claimed the top spot, demonstrating their unity and skill on the field.
Team Pegasus gave an impressive performance, securing the second position with their impressive shots.
Rounding off the top three was Team Griffin, who displayed remarkable sportsmanship and teamwork, clinching the third place in the competition.
It was wonderful to see students and teachers coming together for a fun and spirited event.
Congratulations to all the teams for their outstanding efforts! Let’s keep the spirit of healthy competition alive at Studley High School, and we look forward to more exciting events in the future.
