Our school recently welcomed Police Engagement Community Officers during lunchtime, providing students with the opportunity to engage with them informally. The officers walked around the hall and canteen, making themselves available for conversations with students about any topics relevant at the time.

This initiative aims to foster positive relationships between young people and local police officers, encouraging open dialogue and trust. Students were able to approach the officers without the need for appointments, making the engagement both accessible and friendly.

We appreciate the officers’ presence and their commitment to supporting the student community. These visits provide valuable opportunities for students to ask questions, seek advice, or simply connect with a positive role model.
