On Monday 3rd March, nearly 100 of our Year 9 students had the exciting opportunity to visit the National Space Centre in Leicester. The trip offered a fascinating exploration of space science, with students participating in interactive exhibits that showcased the history of space exploration and the cutting-edge technology that drives human advancements in space.

The days highlights included a captivating show in the UK’s largest planetarium, where students learned about the journey to becoming an astronaut and the challenges involved in space missions.

As part of the trip, students were also encouraged to complete space-themed booklets, with those demonstrating outstanding effort and engagement being awarded prizes and postcards.

This experience provided our students with an unforgettable insight into the world of space science, inspiring curiosity and furthering their interest in this exciting field.
