On Saturday, 22nd March, 17 of our Year 10 students took on the challenge of a Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE) practice walk up Bredon Hill. This important step in their DofE journey provided them with the opportunity to refine their navigation skills and learn how to take a bearing—essential skills for their upcoming expedition.
The students showed great determination and teamwork as they navigated the route, gaining valuable experience that will support them during their practice expedition over Easter. The day was a fantastic opportunity to build confidence in the outdoors while preparing for the next stage of their award.
Well done to all the students who took part! We look forward to seeing them put their skills to the test on their next expedition.
