STEM Racing Regional Finals Success

Students recently competed in the STEM Racing Regional Finals, demonstrating impressive engineering, teamwork and problem‑solving skills.

Using CAD software, they designed and refined race cars, testing and improving performance through data analysis and applying maths and physics concepts. Working in industry style teams, students took on roles such as design, manufacturing and project management, developing strong communication and organisational skills while producing detailed engineering portfolios.

They also gained hands-on experience with professional STEM tools and presented their design decisions, testing outcomes and final results.

Students showed great creativity, resilience and collaboration, making the competition both challenging and rewarding. It was an excellent opportunity to apply classroom learning to real-world engineering.

“The students did an amazing job and one of our teams won fastest car!”
